SD Policies
THE POLICIES LISTED BELOW ARE IN PLACE TO ENSURE THAT ALL OF OUR GUESTS RECEIVE THE MOST HOSPITABLE AND EFFICIENT SERVICE POSSIBLE.
Donna Jean is a reservation driven restaurant. All reservations require a credit card to secure the reservation.
We are more than happy to welcome walk-in guests and will accommodate them as much as possible. We have a small dining room. If there is a seating preference, we will do our best to honor that request. The largest group we can accommodate for a regular (non-private) reservation is 12.
We are happy to accommodate any dietary preferences or allergies to the best of our abilities. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or food allergies when making your reservation and allow at least 48 hours’ notice. You can also communicate your dietary needs via email to donnajeansd@gmail.com or call 619-299-5500. Due to the complexity and seasonality of the menu, we are not always able to accommodate all requests, but will try our best!
Parties of 8 or more guests will have an 18% gratuity added to their bill.
CORKAGE AND CAKE CUTTING
Corkage is $15.00 per 750ml bottle, up to two bottles. We kindly ask that the wines you bring are not already represented on our wine list.
The cake cutting fee is $2.00 per plate. We kindly ask that the cake you bring is vegan.
LATE SEATING POLICY
We ask all of our guests to understand that due to the small nature of our restaurant, we are only able to hold your reservation for 15 minutes past your reserved time. Seating beyond the 15-minute grace period cannot be guaranteed. If you do anticipate a delayed arrival, please contact us as soon as possible at 619-299-5500.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel or reduce your party size, please call the restaurant at 619-299-5500 or email (donnajeansd@gmail.com) before the scheduled time of your reservation. No call-no shows will be assessed a fee of $25 per guest against the card used to secure the reservation.
If a reservation of 10 or more guests or more arrives with less guests than requested in the reservation, with no notice, unfortunately we have to charge $25 per guest not in attendance. Seating cannot be guaranteed for any guests in excess of their reservation.
Donna Jean has a ZERO TOLERANCE harassment policy. Please treat our staff with integrity and kindness, just as we treat our guests.
SERVICE ANIMAL/PET POLICY
We are happy to accomodate well behaved dogs on our patio. Service animals are welcome at all tables at our restaurant. Please notate your reservation that your companion animal or service animal will be joining you to assist our Host in accommodating you.
